Wolf spider
wolf spider while big spiders such as tarantulas
can be quite scary the good thing is that they move
relatively slowly and while smaller spiders that swing
around on webs might have painful bites they tend
to spend their lives chilling in their webs and waiting
for prey to fly into them but wolf spiders are different
unlike most spiders they don’t spin webs instead they
spend their days sprinting around non-stop looking
for something to pounce on and dig their fangs into
and if you’re a small insect or perhaps something
bigger you don’t want to become a wolf spider’s
prey if you aren’t able to outrun a wolf spider it’ll
pounce on you and sink its teeth in catching their
prey they either mash up its body into a small ball
to devour or they inject liquefying venom before
slurping up its guts because they don’t spin webs
wolf spiders are most comfortable on the ground
they spend their lives wandering the ground for
prey the colors and patterns on their bodies allow
them to blend in with fallen leaves dirt and rocks
occasionally wolf spiders make small burrows
under rocks on the ground to live in wolf spiders
are very resilient and are able to live virtually
anywhere from cold mountains to carpet-lined
homes wolf spiders find a way to survive while
the spider doesn’t usually attack humans they
will bite if they feel threatened while its bite does
contain venom it’s generally not dangerous to
humans because of how massive we are
compared to them but those who are allergic
to spider venom will probably experience nausea
dizziness and fatigue still the mere size of
the fangs mean that the bite will not be a fun
experience unless you like the feeling of two
