Yellow sac spider
yellow sac spider is scientifically known as Chiara
canthium the yellow sac spider is a type of spider
that you really do not want to get bitten by as
opposed to other spiders whose fangs point
straight down yellow sack spiders have things
that go out and inward and bite in a pinching
like fashion, they are rather dull in color with
yellowish pale bodies and are quite small
growing to about one-third two-thirds of an
inch long but they’re often found indoors and
are considered to be common house spiders
but they also inhabit forests and outdoors in
the united states and throughout the Americas
yellow sac spiders tend to spin their webs into
silk tubes under rocks leave and any other
crevices they can find the spider produces
venom that is classified as a cytotoxin which is
essentially a poison that is either destructive to
cells or disables cell functions the venom is
necrotic and therefore causes premature cell
death if bitten humans will experience lesions
swelling and potential allergic reactions and
that’s not to mention the actual pain of the bite
which is generally quite intense interestingly
these spiders have been reported to be attracted
to gasoline and petroleum reports have said that
the spiders have caused problems with Mazda
vehicles by building webs and silk and nest inside
the canister vents causing chemical blockages in
the vehicles this issue has created safety issues
related to fuel leaks and potential fires starting in
2010 mazda had to recall car models due to this issue
